Elmont United Methodist Church is the quintessential small rural church.  Relying on a strong worship experience, friends and family gather each Sunday to celebrate and praise God.  Our Pastor, Les, believes in strong, practical messages that show us how to apply the teachings of Christ to our everyday lives...
so important in these turbulent times.

 
 Elmont UMC is the place where people WILL know you by name!  We rejoice in your happiness, and empathize with your times of difficulty.   We are looking to grow...but more importantly, we want to grow together...through faith, worship and the study of God's Word.

If you like great old gospel, and traditional hymns, sometimes with a bit of a country twist...you'll enjoy the harmony and music that regularly supports hymn singing. 

Speaking of music...we're a busy little Church.  Elmont Church is the congregation bringing Northeast Kansas the Elmont Opry for more than 39 years.  The Opry features Church members and local musicians sharing their great musical talent in March, August and November.  It's a great show...and critical to our ministry.

In addition, we are proud to support our local veterans, as well as the brave men and women currently serving.  We have an active United Methodist Women group that contributes to missions and our local schools.  We are working to build a greater community presence by participating in local events like "Paws in the Park", "Trunk or Treat" and "Hands on Topeka".
